Can anyone help. A client has a member of staff who has recently had to go to Cyprus. She has booked her PCR test for her return. But does she have to stay at home until she receives her results? I can't find any specific guidance about this. It just says PCR before flight to UK, then PCR within 2 days of return.
My thought process is she stays at home until a negative PCR has been achieved. They want her back in the office ASAP and are not intending to wait for PCR results

If it doesn't say you have to isolate - then presumably that's because you don't have to isolate.

its on the amber list, therefore she needs a PCR but (stupidly) doesnt have to isolate whilst waiting for results. Seems a little pointless use of the system, you either test and isolate or dont bother testing and mingle

When the world is slowly learning the jab just stops people becoming very ill in themselves this government really needs to U-turn its moronic mandate about care home staff having to be vaccinated otherwise the hospitals are going to be innundated with residents who no longer have sufficient carers. in reallity we will probably get to beds in corridors and ambulances queing before soemone takes any notice.
