Hi, does anyone have a "Safeguarding Adults Risk Assessment" template I could update / modify / make use of? Thinking about a work / company related situation(s). ANY advice would be apreciated - thanks.

JHF - 150 have read, no responses - quite rare on these Forums where there is usually someone who wants to help

Possibly you need to be a little more specific with your question.

What sort of adults are you thinking about?

Hi Peter, seems to be mental health related, was asked by our HR department to carry out a risk assessment relating to safeguarding adults. Cant find anything close - have found "somthing" relating to an assessment within Councils, seems to be vulnerable people (children / tennents etc.) related.

As you don't have such an assessment in place ask them to identify who on the payroll they believe would be the subject of such activity.

Given the phrasing of your question I read it as someone in HR picked up on a buzz-phrase and instead of doing adequate research regarding applicability to the organisation swiftly dumped it on someone elses desk as a fool's errand so they could tick a box.

I guess that Roundtuit has probably hit the mark.

Though I also suspect that this is likely to be one where someone other than the H&S bod should be taking the lead (possibly HR!)

However, usual principle - if in doubt dump it on the H&S bod's desk.
