Hi All

I am looking for a guide to safe wind speeds for LGV powder and liquid tanker discharge but have not been able to find anything. The HSE guide 'Safety in the design, construction and use of bulk tipping containers' does not appear to have anything.

Checked with our hauliers and they appear to leave it to the driver and customer to decide. Typically we have a wind speed measuring device on top of the silo which has decided to stop working, but even if it was providing numbers i have nothing to compare against.

Any help or pointers greatly appreciated.
