Hello - Does anyone know a good source of information for applicability (or the nearest localised equivalent) of safety guidance for different European countries?

At the moment I am looking for guidance on RACKING, LOLER and WELFARE REGS to cover CZECH REPUBLIC? There's a bit of guidance online ref general safety legislation for CZ, but nothing as specific (or by discipline) as you can easily find through UK guidance/law/HSG/ACOPs etc?

Thanks

Hi Eduard

My starting point would be the EU-OSHA website.

That will give you information about how the Czech Republic has gone about "transposing" the EC "Framework Directive" and its multiple "Daughter Directives".

Should probably also give you a link to the relevant enforcing authorities in the Czech Republic.

Good luck, Peter

Hi Eduard,

In addition to Peter's post you may find the ILO's Natlex or ILO encyclopaedia sources on google helpful, although you may be in for a serious amount of digging.

Regards

Mike
