Hi, 

I am working with builder of electric boats and we are expecting our first shipment of Lithium batteries since I joined the company. I am struggling to find any specific guidance on the safe storage of such batteries in the UK. Has anyone any experience of this with large electric batteries for vehicles etc?

We have invested in fire resistant lithium battery storage cabinets and purchased AVD fire extinguishers (Google will provide examples) We also have a procedure to handle and store hot batteries outside of the building
