Anyone have much experience in guarding of Sprial Wrapping machines ? Got a brand new machine CE marked, training provided , remote control operated etc. The only thing ive noticed is there are no guards to prevent access to the power rollers whcih are approx 6m either side of the wrapper. To be honest its used about once an hour or so and fork lifts place the item on and then off the rollers; so with remote control operation the risks are minimal - however , puwer does make an issue of guarding moving parts. Anyone got any specificknowldge on this

By spiral wrap, do you mean spin wrap?

Is that the rollers are 6m high vertically adjacent to the wrapper OR there are rollers 6m distant from the (presuming pallet) footprint of the wrapper? Might help if you could locate a suitable image (attaching a link is the chain icon top row of a new post or in the same box the photo icon)
