I am looking ayt putting in place a Q code system for safety documents. This Q code could be displayed somewhere in the foyer and within the building. I am aware of other issues such as keeping it up to date and personnel reading the docs etc. What i am fater is knowledge of anybody who has put something similar in place. How was it done? How did it go down and any problems that occurred etc.

I presume you mean QR code. If so then they are handy and I love using them, they refer back to a URL so as long as the URL doesnt change then the latest copy will always be available. One big risk is cyber threats, people posting up QR codes on notice boards etc to gain information whilst looking like legit documents and website. Something often overlooked.

If we are talking QR codes then like most technology "fine whilst it is working" sat behind desks it is easy to forget some practicalities:
- site policies on electronic devices. No good having a code and nothing to read it with e.g. due to DSEAR zoning.
- communication "Not Spots" (even in buildings right next to the local 5G mast) - contingency (in-house/local power outages taking servers and communications down) - security (url editing/update controls - quite often have an important url broken by new IT staff so now have weekly check it is still connected)

Does target audience all have smart phones ? and will they enjoy reading documents on a phone ( lots of people I have found prefer to read from paperwork if there is any length to the text.
