Hi all,
Has anybody got any contact details or resolutions on how to proceed with the closure of NCRQ? I am 3/4 through my diploma and then they have gone into liquidation with no communication. Feel a little stuck in limbo right now. Any help or contact details on how to get some answers would be appreciated

I’m surprised to hear you say there has been no contact – I had two colleagues on the NCRQ course when they folded, and they received lots of information (none good). Also, if you search this forum and the member’s forums, several threads are running about the situation, as well as articles in the safety press and linked-in. To try and sum up the current situation, as I understand it – NCRQ is no more – the official receivers have written to all creditors (students) to say there is no money to pay you back. I have read that some people have successfully claimed money from their credit cards. Unfortunately, there is no way to contact NCRQ as they no longer exist. An attempt to transfer the course to another provider sadly failed for some reason. AIM (the examination body, for want of a better term) has written to all students and offered to have their final assignment marked, BUT you must already have been sent the last assignment. One of my colleagues was in this category and had just been awarded a Credit Pass. Phoenix Health and Safety (NEBOSH, IOSH & NVQ Training Courses | Phoenix Health & Safety (phoenixhsc.co.uk)) were offering a discount for anyone registered with NCRQ to register with them for the NEBOSH diploma or the NVQ (we took advantage of this for my other colleague who had only been on the course for a few months), but I think the deadline may have passed. There was some talk about giving some credit for any NCRQ units completed, but I don’t know how far that progressed. I suspect there is not much in my response to give you comfort – it’s an unfortunate situation; I thought the NCRQ was an excellent course, and I am so sorry to see it go. Good luck with your future studies

Hi Nicole Just to add to what Brian has said your profile says that you are an IOSH Member, so you have access to the three Members' (only) Forums here. So, lots of threads about NCRQ on the Study Support Forum on the public forums and more on the Members' Forums inclusive of links to some of what has been said on LinkedIn. As Brian indicates if you paid by credit card you might be able to get some or all of your money back. Otherwise you only have the administrators of NCRQ to talk to which is probably a waste of time, or AIM who put out press releases for candidates to contact them but with a deadline of December 2022, so that is passed. Good luck going forward, P
