Evening all, just wondering if anyone knows if the IOSH Food and Drink Industries Group and The Food and Drink Federation still do their food industry KPI report. Found some old reports but nothing recent. Thanks in advance.

Morning Coyle - 79 people have read your posting with no replies which probably indicates that the readers don't know the straight YES or NO answer to your question.

I would be cautious about reading too much into any such benchmarking statistics as they are likely to represent a highly skewed part of the food and drinks industry which is made up of a multitude of players of sizes from the family butcher up to the multinationals and everything between.

The result of that means that the risk profiles of those contributing to any statistics could be at variance to whoever you are advising.

Imagine as example the differences between a local bakery and a "plant" bakery (the latter likely to feature in any published benchmarking stats).

Production operatives in the plant bakery are not faced with numerous risks that are relevant to those working in a small bakery. In contrast the maintenance staff in the plant bakery will be faced with risks that those in the small bakery would rarely face. Similarly, much higher logistics risks at the plant bakery.

Good luck, Peter

I am very pleased with the great cuisine that has come our way over the last 50 years. And it's all thanks to cultural appropriation in a sense. For example, the seafood here is excellent https://lemberg.uk/en/blog/caviar-shelf-life  My friend has ordered from them many times before and was very satisfied. Really, maybe we should take it easier?
