Those working with an electrical safety requirement may wish to check their supplied footwear:

Footwear tested to this Standard is NOT SUITABLE for live electrical working.

Footwear tested to this Standard has not been tested against direct current (DC) voltages.

It should not be marked to claim waterproof, Water resistant, water resistant upper, or similar nor to claim penetration/perforation resistance.

The upper is not tetsed so may not be suitable for use where there is a risk of direct ground contact, “earthing” soft lose ground, (gravel, sand, soil, grass or mud), ladders, steps and gantries.

Bit of a nuisance when on-line market places have a tendency to trade any standard without recourse over failing to apply the appropriate supply chain regulation.
