I visit a scientific company to see a family member every now and again and they asked me the following question The lab has gas cylinders delivered for the work they do. They are stored in an external cage and then connected to the manifold in the cage and then the gas flows into the labs. They currently use their inhouse Air conditioning trained/qualified engineer to connect the cylinders into the system. But they wan't to have others be capable of completing this task. But couldn't find a course/training to qualify the extra staff.
I said I didnt know and a bit of research has failed to offer any guidance. So for thoise that work in this sector, is there a course they can send the staff on?

TBF, I think you are quite accurate with that statement, but they don't seem to understand that working in their environment is quite niche, and not every H&S professional will know all the answers.. But they do have a nice selcxtion of biscuits there so a visit is always well rewarded.
