We are looking to install a mixed gas ring main for MAP gases; nitrogen & carbon dioxide.  Is it a requirement to install sensors along the route of the pipework, and would it be different for a fully welded system as opposed to a crimped, etc, system?

Can anyone tell me of the relevent safety standard please?

Hi MB D. C.

The standard I would be looking to refer to is BCGA CP4 Gas supply and distribution systems (Excluding Acetlyene). It is free to download and is a publication from the British Compressed Gas Association.
