I need to purchase safety footwear that provide protection against electrocution. My understanding is that Class 0 dielectric shoes will protect to 1000V and Class 00 to 1500V. However I am having trouble finding Class o / 00 shoes / boots (not the gum boot welly type footwear). Do shoes that are rated to US Standard ASTM 2413-11 automatically meet Class 0 or Class 00? Alternatively would shoes rated to US Standard ASTM 2413-11 provide sufficient protection against 1000V or 1500V?
