Hello - Hoping there might be some people that work within the Caravan & camping industry here that can help with some guidance

What is the recommended/expected minimum safe distance that should be in place between  tourer caravan/awnings/motorhomes/campervans/vehicles etc?

Do seasonal caravan sites have to have permits in place with any regulatory bodies/authorities/councils?

Information i have found on the great interweb, is there should be 6 meteres space between caravans, 3 meters between caravan with awning and neighbouring caravans as a fire break.

Are there safety rules for allowing a transient campervan/motorhome to pitch next to a seasonal touring caravan? I.e. proximity for fire safety.

Any help/support would be appreciated.

This would likely be set in the Local Authority licensing conditions which means it will vary by where in the country the site is located.

We usually use either CCC or CMC site as the distance you have quoted are what they go by and they are quite strict with them. More independant sites will shrink it to 4m but I have also been to sites where you cant step between a group of tents (usually all in th same group but my safety head kicks in and I just roll my eyes).
