Hello! We want to add side rails to our mobile yard loading ramp. Our Engineers are fully trained so they can build and install the frame but who do I need to contact to come and check the frame? Does it comes under LOLER? Thank you in adavnce for you help!

Speak to your insurance inspectors (before you do the task) - the ones who issue certificates for FLT's, hoists etc. They are the ones who signed off remedial works to a loading ramp we brought to one of our sites.

I think you’re right to check if LOLER applies. You’ll likely need to have a LOLER inspector check the frame once it’s built to make sure it’s compliant, especially since it’s going to be used for lifting or moving loads. I’d contact a certified LOLER inspection service.
