Can anyone confirm if a collapse of a steel plated void in a boiler house is RIDDOR reportable under Dangerous Occuances?

The operative stepped on the steel plated void and fell 1.5m

No significant injuries to the IP and back at work the following day.

Thank you

I wouldn't have thought so - it doesn't seem to fit any of the categories of Dangerous Occurrence in the regulations:

https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/1471/schedule/2

The closest would seem to be paragraph 23 (structural collapse) but this only applies during construction work (which you don't say if was happening or not).

Most dangerous occurrences are not Dangerous Occurrences!
