Can someone recommend a cheap Sound Level Meter which will meet the standard for a factory environment?

This is only for a one off survey over a few days and hopefully around £200 or so max.

Google is your friend, a number of providers come up on a 'noise meter hire' search. For a one-off its the best way to go, they should be calibrated and in-date and have a check device for setting up. Depends where you are too.

If its for guidance not a 'proper' survey there are smartphone apps which will give a fair picture - 'soundmeter+' is one that I use as an indicator. In comparison with meters it is within 1 - 2 dB, near enough for a decision on a full survey.
