hi, i am having a slight debate between our company and a client.

we are using a cutting station on a particular site, we have a cold cutting blade which we are using.

no hot work permits are issued..

our client wants us to have two fire extingishers and flame proof sheeting around the station.

can anyone advise if there protocols are needed?

thanks

What is being cut?

Is there a fire risk? any static discharge and flammable items nearby?

what does the fire risk assessment state?

Cutting? Metal or other materials that generate sparks or embers the provision is sensible.
