Hi All,
I have just submitted RAMS for works to be carried out on a clients premises (no live working). I have just been informed by the client, that I need to attach our Electrical Safety Rules, which I intend to do.
Question. Is it a legal requirement to attach Electrical Safety Rules to your RAMS or best practice?
Thanks in advance

It is good practice for the client to observe your rules as your RAMS, permits to work and other associated project documentation should cover the hazards, risks and control measures, including competencies of your operatives.
The Electircity ar Work Regulations 1989 state: It may also be appropriate for the safety isolation procedures to be formalised in written instructions or house rules.
Employees should be trained and instructed to ensure that they understand the safety procedures which are relevant to their work and should work in accordance with any instructions or rules directed at ensuring safety which have been laid down by their employer.
The client will be wanting to ensure your operatives are working in compliance with these rules. I hope that helps.

Baal, As you are working on their site, they should give you a copy of their electrical safety rules for you to work too, as they are ultimately responsible for safety.
