Anyone knows the thresholds for the HSE/Railway Fatigue Risk Indicator spread sheets are.

Did read the accompanying documents but they mostly seem to explain how the trials were conducted and the inputs into the spread sheet.

Am assessing night shifts 22:00 to 06:00 up to 12 consecutive shifts.

Currently have values ranging from 26.3 to 44.6 on the fatigue calculation

And values 0.84 to 1.96 on the risk calculation.

Appreciate that the risk index is the likelihood of loss of alertness around midnight and fatigue index kicks in around 5am for night shifts . but don’t understand the actual numbers other than 44.6 is the % out of a 100 that a worker will experience fatigue.
