I'm with you on that - I find the reflective accounts really hard to write.  I know I have gained from doing something but I'm not very good at expressing it!!

From memory, there's a section in IPD in the panel on the left, with a pdf download that details how to write a reflective account.

I agree; I found it very difficult at first, but after I'd spent about three hours trying to come up with the first one, the others seemed to follow more easily. The problem I had was that I was writing about something that I'd done and implemented before at another company and here I was, doing it all again, so I guess I defaulted as to what I felt doing about it the first time I implemented it and then contexualised it with what I was trying to achieve overall with my new company now, and also my IPD as a whole. Hopefully that makes sense?!

Here is the list I was referred to. Its in the guidance somewhere. When doing my IPD the second reflective statement was rejected. I used these points to shape my statements and all have passed since and I felt I had done a good job of actually analysing the unit I had submitted and drawing learning points. As with everything you have to be honest wth yourself. I found it best to paste these in, write that section then delete the heading.
