Hi all

I'll keep it short and sweet. Our retails sales people want to carry helium canisters to blow up balloon in shops etc. Not paticully high risk I know but it will come under pwuer

My question is how do we capture training for everyone on use, transport, disposal etc? The sales execs are spread  out all over the country, We use a lot of e-learning however this wont be an option.  They have said they will reaed the safety sheets etc but I'm not particually comforatble with that

If anyone has been in a similar situation any tips would be welcome

Mike

There is some useful info here: https://www.boconline.co.uk/en/health-and-safety/gas-safety/balloon-gas-safety/handling-and-storage/index.html along with contact details - they may well be able to offer the help/advice you are looking for?

Another useful guide here with pictograms which might help https://www.aga.se/en/images/Helium_instructions_UK_tcm581-180349.pdf

Not directly said but some of your concern seems to be the assurance they have read, know the instructions etc. Have you considered some form of Skype or other webinar so you have a real time link whilst avoiding wasted mileage?
