I need a new microwave. Anyone want to make some recommendations? Don't have a price range at the moment, just looking for something that is top quality.I'm in the market for a microwave. In fact, I haven't had one for four yeras and I've thrived without it, but I want to use it to quickly dehydrate foods like onions and eggplants, so I'm looking. Any thoughts? It needs to be over-the-range.

Trevor, I can't think of anything funny to say which might offend someone... so I think you have posted on the wrong website.

Rather than asking on an IOSH website, perhaps you would be better looking at the HSE one....Heating Substances Equipment instead? :-)

This has got to be trolling at his best...I can't imagine anyone creating a profile on a forum that most members don't even know it exists, to ask for microwave advice. Well played, sir, well played.

The post looks American, so it might be they aren't aware of IOSH and think it means something else... International Opinions of Simmering Heat.. Ok i am struggling with this one.

I expect any second now Mr Trevorsaldana will send us a new message which will extol the wonders of the Acme Brand of microwave and he ( all such robots are “he’s”) will earn tuppence hapenny per site. He plans to bombard at least 1 million sites worldwide to create a “viral sensation”. We along with millions of others will left scratching our heads wondering what this e-commerce is all about and return to wondering what really is a RIDDOR reportable incident.

"nuking" IMHO is for people with no taste buds or respect for their body

Personally I'd be using a dehydrator as that gives the best results and can also be used for making jerky and fruit leathers...

We have installed GE JVM3160RFSS 30″ Over The Range Microwave at home and we are satisfied. You can see the information about it here https://themybuy.com/5-best-over-the-range-microwaves/. The only thing, when you buy such microwaves learn all information about installing to avoid further problems.
