In a healthcare/ soiled healthcare returned linen environment we require employees to have a suitable level of Hep B immunity. In many cases employees go through a course of inocculation to increase their level of protection. On a few occassions employees do not increase their level of immunity evn after innoculations. What should we do at this poiunt? What have others done in such circumstances?

Vaccination is regarded as at or near the bottom of the Control hierarchy for controlling blood borne infections such as Hep B. As such it is described in HSE guidance as an additional control not the primary control. See https://www.hse.gov.uk/biosafety/blood-borne-viruses/immunisation.htm You have to ascertain what the risk of infection is for your staff and decide whether they need that immunity. What do they actually do that exposes them to a risk from Hep B? Can the job not be redesigned to reduce that risk, if it exists?
