Hello. I am trainee safety tech and I've been asked to do a risk assessment on a domestic coffee machine (one of the ones you put little pods in) which is to be used in an office environment. The machine is listed as operating at 3.3 water bar pressure. I amagine it will inherintally produce small amounts of steam also. I've doing some reading and from what I can gather this type of machine falls under the PSSR regs, is this correct? I'd really appreciate someone who knows their stuff to clarffiy this as it seems really bizzare to me. Thank you in advance.

Domestic pod machines do not store steam they generate it so do not fall under this scheme. The hot water is stored at more than 3.3 bar usually but water isn't a relevant fluid in this instance.
