Hi All,

Looking for some assistance when deciding what training to stipulate in procedures when it comes to intermediate lifting (non-construction). Basic lifts are covered and complex lifts would be covered by appointed person training (although within the business, we'd strongly encourage to contract this type of lift out and it would only be authorised by senior management anyway).

However for lifts that fall into the intermediate category as defined by 7121, the training I would stipulate would be slinger/rigger and signaller training, although there are many types of this course out there ranging from 1 day, 2 day, to 5 day. What type of training provider and course content should we be looking at to set consistency across the business, driven by our management system?
