Hi all, we are currently putting together some policies/procedures using the Asbestos Essentials Task Sheets and are stuck on one area of the task, this is whether the waste generated would take us over the 0.1% limit and be classed as hazardous waste or not.

The work we do is all non notifiable NL work. The work involves mainly encapsulation with minimal release of fibres. (The most waste that will be generated is removing 3 screws from an AIB board). Of course there will be PPE, Polythene Sheets, Mask etc.

How does one go about determining whether the waste generated would go over the 0.1% threshold or not?
