Just to let you now there are emails being sent which at first look like they are from the HSE with the name Mark J Burrows at the bottom. It states you will get a visit tomorrow and that you must by law have all the required documents ready (with a link). The phone number under the name is a real HSE phone number, when I checked. However if you phone the number there is a HSE message saying it is a hoax and that they are aware of it and not to click the link –too late.

I thought it was odd that we have had two visits at different premises, with no warning. No issues or problems with the un announced spot checks, so did seem odd that we were being warned in advance.

Anyway, to warn others. PS using different pc while works one is running virus scan.

Regards

Chris

Chirs - thanks for the warning.

A reminder that opening links in emails can be dangerous for your internet security, and in turn, your bank balance.
