Perhpas if you clarify your sector and location you may get some response - I doubt a check list for Sellafield would be appropriate for N.I. construction

I am sorry to be blunt at this time of the morning but how are we meant to know what YOU require in YOUR workplace. I have just been reviewing our inspection checklists and we have one for laboratories and workshops, one for communal areas and one for teaching spaces. I created these my self as I know what we do in these spaces and how we do it. You have mentioned recycling, manufacturing and transport but tells us nothing about YOUR work areas. What does ‘transport’ mean: lorries, trains, buses, airplanes. Are you interested in loading bays, what sort of loading bays, how do you get stuff on and off the lorries, do you use fork lift trucks. Are the goods containerised? Are there any conveyor belts? Exactly what equipment do you use. Manufacturing; is that a steel plant, maybe using an arc furnace to melt metals or is it paper etc etc.

The way I would approach this is: Go and do an inspection with an inquisitive mind Write down what I see and hear, both positive and negative Develop the checklist from this

drop me a pm and I will email across what I have for a couple of industries...what I think everyone is saying is that without a pointer to what industry you are in it is difficult to judge...happy to share :)
