I am looking to install a hazard rpeort board in our manufacturing area. We have a process which involves paper slips passing from person to supervisor to H&S bod. It is a process which is slow and the buy in from staff is not great.

We set up an email system for reproting but being an old fashioned company we struggle to get them to embrace IT.

Therfore a nice visual board where reports can be made and people can immediately see the progress of the issues, and also whether an issue has already been picked up or not.

I appreciate that this is not a new system and I know plenty of people use them. I am loooking for advice on what works and what doesn't in terms of layout, and also where I could purchase one.

Thanks Steve. This board is great for daily hazards on site. What I am looking for is possible more of an issues board, which will then showthat they are being dealt with - and by whom. Perhaps with a date when they will be resolved by.

in Pharma we have what is called Tier boards which are basically an escalation of issues from Tier 1 to Tier 4...which includes actions on production, process, people, Env and Safety..a hybrid version might work for your application...

I will try and get you a picture...drop me a pm with an email and I will get it across...
