Following a recent auidt we have been picked up for not risk assessing and monitoring dust supression water bottles , for legionella that are fitted to our stihl saw type mechanical saw machines. Is there anyone out there doing this or can point me in the right direction. It obviously something that we dont do or more to the point didnt know we had to do .....Thanks Edited by user 23 June 2021 12:19:56(UTC)

We had green algae identifed as a potential issue for blocking / reducing water flow impacting dust supression.
Our control (which would also address legionella) was that the bottle should be emptied at the end of shift, filled with fresh drawn water thereafter and never stored with water in the bottle.
