Hi

We are building 2 new warehouses and wondered if there is any guidance as to what the minimum distance should be between the two to ensure that there is a suitable fire break

I appreciate that it may depend on the goods stored etc but any lisks to guidance would be useful

Looking at Approved Document B2 and BS 9999 2017 Fire Safety in the design management and use of buildings it is not as simple as a look-up table which is where the architect starts to earn their professional fees.
