I don't have a copy of BS BS5306-8:2012 or BS5499 and hoping that someone that does may be able to assist me.

I am trying to understand the BS specification of signage standard (size, content etc.) which accompanies a fire extinguisher on the wall or stand. If anyone can share some detail or DM me that would be great.

What ar you trying to understand exactly?

Does your service provider not guarantee that their products are compliant for you?

Wasnlt there a big push in 2017 regarding BS EN ISO 7010 being the bible for safety signs?

Certainly many suppliers made a big issue at the time

Are you worried about  the signs in your workplace not being complaint? If that is the case I wouldn’t worry as standards are only guidance, not the law.

The requirement for additional fire extinghuisher signages depends.... if a fire extinghuisher is clearly visible then no additional signage is required.

That is/was the information on the West Yorkshire fire service website.

Its alway the additional sales push by fire extinghuisher salesman to sell additional signage and/or favourite easy spot by fire risk assessors.
