I recently started a job as H&S manager in social housing. we do everything from home property repairs and maintenance to large construction (capital) projects, although the large projects are outsourced to contractors.
This is my first role as a manager ( I have years of experience as an advisor). As a new manager, of course I have ideas I would like to introduce, which brings me to the purpose of this post. I am looking for fellow professionals with similar remits to network with, bounce ideas off, perhaps via linkedin. Let me know please. Thanks people!

At one time there was at least one regional networking group for H&S people in this sector, which used to have regular meetings. I think it was called something like the south-west housing health and safety forum and it was extremely valuable. I don't know whether such groups still exist or cover the area you are in, and admittedly this was long ago. I'm no longer in the sector myself.

Thank you. I checked, there isn't a housing group now but there is public services group which is broader but could still be relevant. I will look to join that. I work in housing within a local authority. thanks for the suggestion.
