looking for advice/recommendations for internal/lead auditor training courses/providers. Looking to build on my competencies with half an eye on doing some consultancy work when I retire, would you go for ISO 9001 or ISO 45001 as I dont want to restrict myself to just auditing H&S management systems.

Cheers and merry christmas to all

Colin - I did OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor training with LRQA - it was very good.

If you don't want to restrict yourself, then it seems to me that 9001 would be a better way to go. Essentially the key elements cross the boundaries between each of the relevant ISO standards.
