Dear Colleagues, I am looking for the below information related to Forklift accidents from any published documents/sites, irrespective of the sector or region: 1. Forklift incident rate.(in operating manhours) 2. Forklift accident costs (total loss without LTI & total loss with LTI) - This could be very relative. Even if I get it for any kind of FLT or human injury, it will help me in a broad assessment Hope someone will be able to help. Regards, P

Pretty sure that they stopped drilling down into statistics relating to this level of request a number of years ago (it is all a lot more generic/basic these days unfortunately). If you don't mind something a bit more historical take a look at https://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/sir60.pdf which might give you some decent info.

The HSE did stop publishing this information a few years ago. The FLTA and BITA joined together last year and are now called UKMHA. I sit on various accrediting bodies for the lift truck industry and also work for a lift truck training company and it does take a long time, research, phone calls and meetings to try and establish even basic numbers. There is nothing published on LTI'S. Also during COVID, with a number of sites either being furloughed or reduced hours, doesn' really give a full picture. A good source maybe to look at the 4 members of the ABA, AITT, RTITB, NPORS,ITSSAR and LANTRA as they may have statistics for their bodies. Hope this helps Andy
