good morning all,

i need to purchase a good multi purpose permit to work book, does anybody have any links or recomendations please

Personally over many years, many industries and many locations I have never come across an "off the shelf" permit book that suitably addressed all the relevant necessary aspects.

Even the expression "multi-purpose" is too vague:

Work at Height? Hot Works? Electrical Low Voltage / High Voltage? Confined Space Entry? Compressed Air Systems? Line isolation? Line breaking chemical/water/vacuum/gasses/other? Vessel/Tanlk/Silo entry?

the scenarios are endless and probably not all applicable to your site.

Ideally your first port of call in the absence of an existing permit system is which hazards need control identified as a permit from your site specific risk assessments rather than imposing paperwork for the sake of record keeping?
