Just a quick one for my learned friends
My question is regarding the EICR (Electrical Inspection Condition Report) produced during a fixed wire testing of a commercial building. In my experience this has been a report/booklet produced at the end of the testing and presented to the client with a pass certificate.
Does this booklet have to be produced and presented on the system being passed off at the end or can it be passed to client piecemeal over time ? ie one unit at a time because it was always my thoughts that the full book had to be provided at the end no matter what was passed over in the interim. Thanks in advance for any experience on this issue

Spud I am afraid your question isnt quite clear. ECIR reports can be carried out and delivered over time if there are multiple supplies into a building. For example a building with 3 seperate supplies and perhaps a number of board on each supply. If there is one supply and multiple boards the test and inspection results for the individual boards can be issued individually over time as these will contain remedial actions if needed. But the overall satisfactory or unsatisfactory sheet comes at the end for the whole installation with the charistics of supply for the building and such like information.
