Hi,

I am currently developing a liftnig management system manual for my company in Saudi Arabia but I am unable to find any relevant local legislation for reference to ensure that the manual is relevant and complies with local legislation, can anyone assist?

Hi Si

I don't know what, if any, Saudi legal requirements apply.

In my limited dealings with projects in Saudi the "owners" have all used UK, EU or US requirements to define standards..

If you go with what e.g. LOLER says it is very unlikely that you will go wrong. No actual need to cite legislation! [UNLESS someone is forcing you down that road, rather than one of best practice]
