Looking for clarity on the compliant width of a pedestran walkay within a factory/Warehouse enviromnment

I have been advised 1.2m?

In the design of pedestrian crossings guidance they recommend a minimum gap of 2m at a traffic island to allow two wheel chairs to pass each other.

Whilst two able bodied persons can twist to pass two wheel chair users are not as able so a provision of passing places may be necessary when it is a long passageway located behind a barrier.

Demarcation of safe walkway's and safe area of work 

The Occupational Act referce to a safe walkway or safe  working area were there are moving equipment (e.g. forklifts) and employee's moving. Thus a width of 1.2m can be sufficient enough, rule of thumb - 2 employees next to each other.
