Hi Guys,

Does my IOSH membership provide some insurance? for us as H&S professionals - i have been asked by my loocal church to review a Fire RA and H&S RA for them - and possibly rewrite depending on what i find etc

can i provide advsie and recommendations and be covered by IOSH insurnace as part of my membership?

No, IOSH membership definitely does not mean you are insured.  A member benefit is that you can easily buy insurance at a negotiated rate.  There's a simple online application which gives you a quote and an option to buy.  You can find a link to this in the "IOSH Extras" section of the website.  You would want professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
