Morning all,

As my emplyer will be expanding into some previosuly empty space and converting it into laboratories, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any companies in Wales / South West who are competent in conductng Fire Risk Assessments for laboratories?

Any help would be much appreciated,

Ta

Who ever you choses make sure that they are competent! At a previous  employer we just set up some new labs and as part of the package the contractor told us, we would get a comprehensive FRA.  I checked them once we moved in and was surprised( I was naïve and trusting in those days!) the at the FRA referred to an empty building not labs filled with every organic solvent known to man.  When we inquired about this, they said  they only did FRA for empty unoccupied properties not properties which were actual being used for anything!
