Others may already know this but i have just discovered if you type a post then cut it and paste it straight back in you get a spell check! If like me your dyslexic I think its very useful.

Thanks Brian,

I'm such a poor typist (hunt and peck), that I normally type into Word and then copy & paste.

Yes i try same if its a longish post but sometimes don't have time, then i look back a few days later and spot some of my mistakes.

Thanks but tried and it didn't work for me, but I'm dyslexic as well.  My main trouble is with the letters from the Security Image.  I get them wrong and have to wait ages before re-posting.

I don't always do it, but if you know that you are about to type a long message on these Forums it is always sensible to start on Word (which has an inbuilt spelling and grammar checker) and then cut and paste from that to here.

Saves the Forum platform shutting you down mid sentence and not always remembering what you have drafted.

That is not you mate. Its this shocking forum set up
For almost every post I make, I have a nightmare entering the security code. Its like rowing with the Mrs, I know I am correct but the computer says no

I too struggle with my grammar and spelling. I use 'Grammarly', and it has been immensely helpful. Once installed, the free version will operate in most text-based windows on your PC. It's like tying in MS Word but everywhere. There are other versions out there also.

It doesn't help with reading or interpreting the security images, though.

Yep my employer pays for the full version for me (not comparable with the forum) and apart from it slipping back into USA English from time to time its great - my tip was for short post like this one. (picked up 6 mistakes in this post)
