Hi All -

I work closely with the Training Department on our H&S and we have a lot of throughput of external training providers for different discipline courses. Some give a great consistent service, others vary in both terms of course quality, and, where the provider you get on the day can change, this can also mean a course can be well-delivered with average content, or poorly delivered with great content!

We also make a lot of internal content and the Training department have asked me to look into if and how we could create course content, but then get it accredited by an appropriate accreditor. E.g. get our internal fire training OFQUAL/CPD/QUALIFICATIONS NETWORK-certifiedm, or similar...

Does anyone have any experience of this? Accreditation processes? Critique? Costs? Timeframes, please?

Essentially this would remove our reliance on external providers where it might not suit us time-wisem and of course, over time, there would be a strong cost saving?

Thanks,

Stuart

Whenever I've done internal training courses where possible I've gone down the train-the-trainer route, usualy getting City and Guilds qualifications

The only way to do this is to register as a training provider, for example a CPD Certification Service.
