Looking for some help, we have CNC machines which have its own individual extraction. So its not a centralised system, some machines are automatic extraction some are manual extraction which require the operator to press a button.
Does the 14 monthly LEV testing come into play as if it was a centralised LEV system?

I don't see why not - what feature of the extraction makes you think it might not require the statutory testing?
The requirement applies to LEV in general - it isn't restricted to systems that extract from multiple machines.

I'm trying to asertain if the extraction is designed for safety or is just so that the coolant is re-used. My knowledge in these machines are limited, what makes it worse is I have gone on the manufacturers website and it doenst mention extraction for safety (which you would expect to be a selling point) as we all know that these machines that use metal working fluid are hazardous to health.
The machine is a Haas DM-2

I'd be very surprised if you weren't relying on this extraction to prevent exposure. What does the O&M manual for the machine say?
