What exactly do you mean by heating torches? are you still talking about Oxy/Gas (Propane or Acetylene with Oxygen). It looks like you are if you have bottles with regulators, so I would say yes you do. The purpose of the is to stop flame going back to the bottle / regulator so why wouldn’t you regardless of what is on the end and alight.

I have never seen of a regulator with arrester incorporated. Not sure it would be a good idea as when you get it inspected annually you would have to replace a more expensive product if one part was found to be faulty.

Thanks for the responses. My view is that if there is presurised gas involved then a arrestor is required. I cannpt find and have not heard of a regulator thst incorporates the arrestror into it.
