Has anyone out there got any infromation,guidance etc regarding Electro Magnetic Radiation.
My organisation is thinking of positioning a workshop adjacent to 2 X 6.6 Kv transformers and I need some info regarding the possible problems.
Any assistance would be help.

We had a similar situation some years ago when we built laboratory close to a transformer bay and HV switch room. Students and staff using the laboratory expressed concerns over EMF.
We measured the EMF and found that the levels in the lab and in the bay were less than one tenth of the investigation levels given in the NRPB guidance.
If you do not have access to instrumentation you can hire it from Livingston Hire 0800 88 6000. BUT you do need some knowledge of EMF if you intend to carry out a survey.
