I’m looking for information on health surveillance for employees exposed to Potassium bichromate. At the moment they are providing a urine sample for analysis at the start of their 4 shifts [after days off] and towards the end of their last day on shift before days off. Is this the best method? Are there others?

Posted By Jane Blunt Potassium bichromate is an example of a soluble hexavalent chromium compound. These can cause ulceration of the skin and the mucous membranes. They can also cause chrome dermatitis, since they are powerful sensitisers. Have a look at the HSE website.
