and David why would that be?
On a forum of an organisation that is so respected for its construction competence that no one bothers to talk to it.....and its members still have to answer silly questions about the colour of red fire extinguishers that entitle one to a card if you can work out what category of card you need...........that's neat!
as you may guess I am bored! I sit here rewriting GE700 for the CITB and its sunny .... and the Met Office got it wrong again - it was meant to be horrible and a good day for editing!
On the face of it the guidance seems OK - its a shame that HSE could simply not have reissued the CIS ones - the APS client duties leaflets are fairly useful though and are small enough that someone may read them - that would be my main criticism with the guidance referred to - I am unconvinced that a busy client will plough through it - great contractually - refer to the link then if they miss it their fault.... oh don't you love the construction industry.
Meanwhile back to Module A03 safety policies deep joy - if anyone from CITB is reading this we are very grateful for the opportunity to carry out this work for you.
Have a nice day and tan sensibly

My only real regret is that the guidance chose not to be absolutely neutral in its stance over the F10 signature debate. It sets out the situation even handedly but then moves to an attempt to enforce the client only position.
The general information is useful but not rocket science. Still it may eliminate some of the excessive demands being made by all parties from time to time in various places.
I do feel however that more discussion on the Pre-construction information handling would have been helpful. It seems that rather than some form of plan document a spreadsheet of information requirements/availability is to be the target to achiev in replacing the old pre-tender plan.
