Posted By JWG I've been asked do we have a 'Health and amp policy', but I'm a little stumped as to what that amp in reference with a health policy Te only thing I can think of is that the amp stands for Asbestos Management Plan. But surely the question should do we have a health and safety policy and an Asbestos Management Plan! Comments welcome, thanks in advance.

Posted By safetyamateur Longshot, JWG. Is it a typo? Somtimes '&' gets followed by 'ampersand'. I'll get me coat.

Posted By martinw I can only think of two things here. One is if you are in a Scottish psychiatric facility as a worker where an AMP is an approved Medical Practitioner. The other is when some websites, when given an ampersand - & - both spell the word it represents and also shorten it to amp. Looks like the S or safety in the title has been lost due to 'and' and 'amp' being effectively used twice due to the use of &. Hope that helps M

Posted By JWG The question is aimed at a vehicle recovery company. As I thought, and backed up by the comments, that its a typo. I will ask for further clarification. Thanks very much for your comments.
